Certified Islamic Banking Manager

Prof. Yaqoub Al-Refaei, Director General of Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS), announced that, as part of joint efforts and in cooperation with the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI) in the Kingdom of Bahrain, KIBS intends to offer the “Certified Islamic Banking Manager” certificate during the period from December 10 to 14, 2017.

This certificate is issued by the General Council and is accredited by the Scientific Accreditation and Auditing Board of the Council, which is composed of several institutions, including:

• The International Islamic Fiqh Academy
• The Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) of the Islamic Development Bank
• The Islamic Economics Research Center at King Abdulaziz University
• The Saleh Kamel Center for Islamic Economics at Al-Azhar University
• The International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) in Malaysia

The training program for the “Certified Islamic Banking Manager” is designed to prepare young leaders for careers in the Islamic banking sector. The program places particular emphasis on:
