KIBS Celebrates 55 Years of Talent Development and Reports Strong Q1 2025–2026 Training Performance, Advancing Kuwait’s Financial Workforce Through Capability Programs and National Upskilling Initiatives

Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS) celebrated its 55th anniversary during a special staff event held at the Dar Hamad event halls, where employees gathered to mark five decades of growth, collaboration, and institutional impact. The celebration also included honoring employees who have completed between 10 and 19 years of service, in recognition of their team spirit, resilience, and KIBS’ culture of collective achievement.

For more than half a century, KIBS has served as a developmental engine for Kuwait’s financial and banking sector, evolving from a local training institution into a regional platform for capability-building. Today, it brings together leading international experts, sector-wide partnerships, and a diverse suite of professional learning programs designed to enhance sector readiness, operational efficiency, and leadership strength.

KIBS’ Capacity Building strategy focuses on strengthening the financial sector’s readiness through specialized learning pathways, leadership development programs, and national upskilling initiatives. By delivering internationally accredited certifications, sector-specific training in risk, compliance, fintech, and digital banking, KIBS continues to elevate professional standards across Kuwait’s financial workforce.
