Prof. Yaqoub Al-Refaei, Director General of the Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS), announced the launch of the “The 7 Habits for Managers” program, which was held in collaboration with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences from December 17 to 19, 2017. The program was attended by a select group of participants from various institutions and banks operating in Kuwait, including Warba Bank, the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Al Rajhi Bank, and Integrated Computer Systems Company. This initiative is part of a series of programs offered by KIBS to various key sectors in Kuwait.
It is worth noting that “The 7 Habits for Managers” program was presented by Franklin Covey in collaboration with KFAS. KIBS works to identify the needs of its clients and offer new and relevant training programs in the labor market. These programs aim to develop the skills of participants, contributing to the growth and development of their abilities, which in turn enhances and improves the performance within the institutions and organizations they work for.
During the program, several important topics were discussed, including: fostering a spirit of initiative to achieve exceptional results through the continuous implementation of initiatives to overcome barriers; developing a results-oriented mindset for every activity within the organization; eliminating tendencies toward wasting energy and time by focusing on the execution of key goals through weekly planning; leading enthusiastic teams to achieve outstanding results by involving everyone in setting and clarifying expected outcomes, and assigning responsibilities according to a clear, systematic plan; and finding unique solutions to problems by exploring different solutions and better alternatives.
KIBS will continue to offer innovative and in-demand programs to its clients, working to enhance and develop the services it provides.
