The Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS) hosted the first-ever global “Training Needs Analysis (TNA)” program in collaboration with the Association for Talent Development (ATD) from the United States. This program targeted participants from training and development management roles within the Kuwaiti banking and financial sector.
Prof. Yaqoub Al-Refaei, Director General of KIBS, emphasized that KIBS, through strategic planning and collaboration with global centers, offers internationally accredited programs from ATD focused on human and talent development for the banking and financial sector. This initiative is made possible by engaging top-tier, internationally certified trainers licensed by specialized global entities like ATD.
The TNA certification, accredited by ATD, is one of the most significant and sought-after certifications for professionals in training, talent development, and human resources. It is recognized by both local and international employers and professional communities. Al-Refaei stated, “Our ongoing observation of the local financial and banking sector shows that leading institutions prioritize qualifying their employees in the training and development field by offering professional certifications. These institutions are now recognized as experts in their field. As a result, KIBS has responded by offering new programs designed to meet these needs, enhancing employees’ capabilities and boosting productivity.”
Al-Refaei also expressed his gratitude to the Kuwaiti banking and financial sector, particularly the institutions and companies that support their employees in obtaining this certification. Such support is seen as an investment in talent development, improving employee performance, and ultimately contributing to the growth of the Kuwaiti economy.
