The Director General of Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS), Prof. Yaqoub Al-Refaei, announced that KIBS hosted a virtual discussion titled “Building a High-Performance Culture: 7 Strategies to Create an Engaged, Empowered, and Motivated Workforce,” presented by global speaker Adrian Gostick. This session is part of a series of remote training programs organized by KIBS to meet the needs and requests of its clients, continuing its efforts to deliver various programs and activities amid the exceptional health circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The session was held on December 8, 2020, with participation from professionals in the banking sector, including representatives from Kuwait Finance House, Gulf Bank, National Bank of Kuwait, Central Bank of Kuwait, Boubyan Bank, Burgan Bank, Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Warba Bank, Industrial Bank of Kuwait, Ahli United Bank, and Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. Additionally, employees from various sectors such as the Public Institution for Social Security, State Audit Bureau, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), and Ci-Net Credit Information Network Company attended the session.
Adrian Gostick is a renowned global speaker and author specializing in organizational culture and leadership. He has collaborated with major institutions worldwide to enhance leadership capabilities and management skills among executives, relying on research conducted with over one million employees.
Al-Refaei emphasized that this discussion is among the significant activities KIBS plans to conduct this year using remote learning and training methods. The session, led by one of the world’s top speakers, addressed crucial topics in modern management, such as building a healthy organizational culture. This culture primarily depends on developing an empowered and motivated workforce eager to achieve extraordinary results.
