Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS) Celebrates the Graduation of Its Trainees for the Year 2021–2022

On May 17, KIBS held a ceremony to celebrate the graduation of a new cohort of its trainees for the 2021/2022 academic year. The event took place at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Resort and was attended by KIBS Director General Ms. Al-Nibari, along with several senior officials from local banks.

The ceremony honored graduates of the accredited training certificate programs and was attended by KIBS department heads, human resources and training managers from local banks, and representatives from Kuwait Airways—the event’s co-sponsor—which held a prize draw for airline tickets as part of its commitment to supporting initiatives that invest in human capital.

In her speech, Ms. Al-Nibari congratulated the graduates on earning these important accredited certifications, emphasizing KIBS’ commitment to continuously developing its programs to meet the evolving needs of various sectors. She highlighted that all certificates are accredited by KIBS’ official partner, the London Institute of Banking & Finance in the UK, one of the oldest professional training institutions in the financial and banking services field.

Ms. Al-Nibari stated that KIBS has played a pioneering role in partnering with regional and international institutions to accredit its programs and professional certifications and has built strategic partnerships aimed at delivering high-quality joint training initiatives across various sectors. She added that KIBS has also become a key center for training and preparation for internationally recognized professional certification exams.

She attributed KIBS’ achievements and progress to the guidance and support of the esteemed KIBS Board of Directors, whose backing enabled KIBS to reach its current prestigious standing. She also praised the vital role of HR and training managers at local banks in supporting KIBS’s mission to benefit banking sector employees and expressed her gratitude to the dedicated instructors who shared their expertise and knowledge with the trainees.

She encouraged all graduates to continue equipping themselves with knowledge and skills to meet the new global challenges in their fields.

On behalf of the graduates, Ms. Sara Al-Abdulhadi delivered a speech in which she praised the role of Kuwaiti banks in supporting and developing young national talent, preparing them to be competent and responsible professionals.

She emphasized the importance of institutional support for empowering young Kuwaitis, stating that true investment lies in human capital. She also commended KIBS for its continuous efforts to provide programs and initiatives that align with the needs of the Kuwaiti work environment.
