Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS) participated in the ATD – Association of Talent Development Summit held under the theme ” Cultivating a Learning Culture to Develop Future Talent ” in Kuwait on October 14–15. This participation aligns with KIBS’ ongoing efforts to support national talent, enhance their capabilities, and prepare them to contribute more effectively to the development of the banking and financial sectors.
The summit aimed to explore innovative strategies for future talent development, equipping individuals with new knowledge and skills while focusing on essential practices for success in today’s dynamic environment.
Through its participation, KIBS sought to showcase its activities and training programs that aim to develop and empower future talent, enabling them to meet the demands of the banking and financial sectors, as well as other industries.
KIBS highlighted programs under the Kafa’a initiative, launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in collaboration with Kuwaiti banks and managed by KIBS. The initiative is designed to prepare national talents capable of playing a vital role in supporting the national economy.
KIBS specifically highlighted the Graduate Development Program for Employment in the Banking Sector, which targets recent university graduates and provides them with approximately eight months of training before joining Kuwaiti banks. This program represents an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates seeking careers in the banking and financial sectors.
KIBS also introduced the Cybersecurity Leaders Program, designed to build local expertise in cybersecurity and offer training opportunities for young Kuwaitis from both within and outside the banking sector. It is worth noting that KIBS is a non-profit organization operating under the supervision of the Central Bank of Kuwait. It provides educational and training programs, language courses, and research activities to meet the developmental needs of Kuwait’s banking and financial sector.
