The Ninth Batch of the Kuwait Graduate Development Program (KGDP)

As part of the Kafa’a initiative launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in cooperation with local banks and under the supervision of Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS), and in line with the strategic vision of the Central Bank of Kuwait aimed at building a highly qualified national workforce capable of contributing to the country’s development journey, the Central Bank of Kuwait has begun accepting applications for the ninth batch of candidates wishing to join the Kuwait Graduate Development Program (KGDP).

This program provides training for new graduates in various fields of banking and seeks to develop their skills through both theoretical and practical training over the course of one year, in Kuwaiti banks and some globally renowned institutions in the banking sector. It offers participants the opportunity to gain practical and professional experience, thus contributing to the banking sector by providing it with highly qualified, young national talents.

In this regard, Dr. Mohammad Youssef Al-Hashel, Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait and Chairman of KIBS, stated that this program is one of the best options available for recent graduates wishing to work in the banking sector, due to the diversity of banking and financial fields it covers, as well as the high level of skills and knowledge it provides trainees. He emphasized that KIBS works closely with distinguished global banks in wealth and asset management to establish training agreements for this purpose. Dr. Al-Hashel concluded his statement by affirming that the Central Bank of Kuwait will continue its diligent efforts to provide the best training opportunities for young Kuwaitis, as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing the banking sector with qualified professionals, thereby supporting the national economy.
